    What is HXC?

HXC is the abbreviated word for Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) extracted from the Hemp plant's pollen and seeds. Also, it's Hemp compliant, meaning it has less than 0.3% of Delta-9 THC. In some cases, HXC can have non-detectable amounts of THC. This means there was insufficient THC to show up on any lab test. Also, HXC is psychoactive, just like its THC counterpart.

    What is HXC-P?

HXC-P is the abbreviated word for Hexahydrocannabiphorol (HHC-P), and it's very similar to its THC counterpart – THCP. Although this is a relatively new cannabinoid, it's much more potent than regular HHC or HHC-O Acetate. However, combined with the versions of HHC, it produces a unique experience like none other.

    What is Live Resin

Live Resin is the process of extracting cannabinoids from frozen Hemp plants. This results in more potent cannabinoids that have a better flavor and are much closer to the original extract. Our HXC + HXC-P Collection includes this extraction process.

Sunset Sherbet goes by a few different names, so you may see it listed at the dispensary as Sherbet, or Sherbert, Sunset Sherbert, or Sunset Sherbert OG. For this review, we will refer to this strain as Sunset Sherbet.

The Sunset Sherbet strain is a heavily indica-dominant hybrid, with an 85% indica to 15% Sativa ratio. It is a cross of the legendary cannabis classic Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) and the proactively named Pink Panties strain.

Sunset Sherbet weed is a bit more “underground” in terms of popularity than its famous parent, but we’d say its taste and effects are equally as good.

In terms of its effects, users say that in low doses, Sunset Sherbet weed is excellent for relaxing and de-stressing after a long, hard day. However, in higher doses, Sunset Sherbet’s sedating effects become more pronounced, which is why some cannabis consumers use it to address insomnia.

Sunset Sherbet has a relatively potent average THC level of 21%, making it unsuitable for novices. Seasoned cannabis users, however, should enjoy Sunset Sherbet’s effects when used in moderation.

Sunset Sherbet weed combines the body-relaxing effects of a traditional indica with the uplifting effects of a sativa.

    Aroma

Sunset Sherbet’s aroma combines fragrant, fruity notes infused with sweet berries and a subtle fresh earth fragrance.

    Flavor

You know you’re in for a treat with a name like Sunset Sherbet. This hybrid has a mouth-wateringly sweet, sherbet powder-like taste and a sumptuous citrus and berry flavor.

    Appearance

A mature Sunset Sherbet plant is of medium height and has relatively large flowers with a dense indica structure.

The plant’s broad leaves are neon green, and the pistils are vibrant orange, which contrasts beautifully with its generous coating of frosty trichomes. Some phenotypes display the distinctive purple hues inherited from its parent strain Girl Scout Cookies.

    Sunset Sherbet Cannabis Grow Info

If you are looking for a simple Indica-dominant strain to grow, Sunset Sherbet might be the one for you. It is naturally resistant to common molds and mildews, and experienced growers describe it as a relatively low-maintenance plant to grow.

Sunset Sherbet plants flourish outdoors in sheltered conditions in a warm, Mediterranean-type climate. If you aren’t fortunate enough to live in a part of the world with this climate, you can replicate these conditions indoors using powerful grow lights.

The indoor flowering period for this strain is eight weeks, and Sunset Sherbet plants are typically ready for harvesting outdoors around late September to early October.

The only downside to growing Sunset Sherbet weed is that its yield tends to be on the low side. Indoor growers can expect around 8 oz of bud per square meter and outdoor cultivators approximately 11 oz per plant.

    THC Content – Highest Test

Opinions of Sunset Sherbet’s THC content vary, with some putting its THC range between 15-19%. However, the cannabis laboratory Analytical 360 reportedly recorded samples of the Sunset Sherbet strain with THC levels between 18-24%.

    CBD Content – Highest Test

Sunset Sherbet is a low CBD strain, with the maximum amount of cannabidiol recorded reportedly 0.2%.

Medical Benefits of the Sunset Sherbet Strain

Most Sunset Sherbet consumers say that they use this strain to address mood disorders such as depression, chronic stress, and anxiety.

However, its other purported medical benefits include alleviating moderate pain, reducing nausea, and increasing appetite.

As mentioned, in higher doses, Sunset Sherbet is said to have sedating and soporific effects. Therefore, it may help to address sleep disorders, such as insomnia.

Possible Side Effects of the Sunset Sherbet Strain

The most common side effect users tend to experience is cottonmouth. Therefore, it is a good idea to drink plenty of hydrating fluids before, during, and after you consume Sunset Sherbet.

Some users may have dry eyes after smoking Sunset Sherbet weed, which is easily alleviated using eye drops.

As the Sunset Sherbet strain can contain up to 24% THC, novices or those who overconsume may experience paranoia.

Final Thoughts on the Sunset Sherbet Strain

The Sunset Sherbet strain is a tasty after-dinner strain. Its effects are uplifting and relaxing in lower doses, so users mainly consume it for relaxation and unwinding purposes.

Medicinal users say that this strain effectively addresses mood disorders and can help with insomnia in higher doses.

For those interested in growing Sunset Sherbet, the good news is that it is an easy strain to cultivate. However, please note that this strain produces a pretty low yield, both indoors and outdoors.
