What is Delta 10? Everything You Need To Know About Delta 10 THC.

Everything You Need To Know About Delta 10

With the legalization of hemp based products as a result of the passing of the 2018 US Farm Bill, many cannabinoids like CBD are growing in popularity. While most of us are familiar with CBD and THC, what you may not know is that there are actually over 100 cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. Two of these cannabinoids that have been growing in popularity are Delta 8 THC and Delta 10 THC.

We know what you’re thinking: “Wait, so there is more than just one kind of THC?” Yes, there is! The THC most of us are familiar with is actually called Delta 9 THC. It is best known for its intense psychotropic effects that can sometimes result in anxiousness or paranoia in many.

So what is the difference between Delta 9 THC and Delta 10 or Delta 8 THC? In this article we will be discussing Delta 10 in detail and outlining the differences between the different strains of THC.

What is Delta 10?

Delta 10 is a strain of THC that is found in very scarce quantities within both the hemp and marijuana plant. While Delta 10 is not legal when derived from a marijuana plant, it is legal if sourced from hemp or made within a laboratory setting.

Because it is found in such trace amounts in nature, most Delta 10 you may come into contact with has been produced in a controlled laboratory setting making it perfectly legal in any state that legalized CBD usage with the passing of the Farm Bill in 2018.

You can find out if Delta 10 is legal in your state here.

How Does Delta 10 Make Your Feel?

The main question most potential users want to know is: Does Delta 10 get you high? The short answer is yes.

If you are familiar with the effects of Delta 9 THC, you know that while it makes you ‘high’, it can also make you anxious and paranoid. While there is limited research that has been conducted on how Delta 10 works within the body, it is thought to interact with the CB1 receptors in the endocannabinoid system similar to how Delta 9 and Delta 8 THC does.

The effects of Delta 10 can result in a mild high that may produce feelings of euphoria, creativity and energy in users. One major benefit that Delta 10 offers is that while it does produce mild psychotropic effects, users do not report feelings of anxiety or paranoia.

Delta 8 vs Delta 10

While both Delta 8 and Delta 10 produce a mild high with no paranoid side effects, they each offer slightly different ‘highs’. According to some users, Delta 10 produces more of an energetic, creative high that is ideal for daytime use; while Delta 8 tends to offer a more mellow high that induces a more relaxed feeling making it great for evening or as a sleep aid.

Does Delta 10 Show Up on a Drug Test?

Although Delta 10 (and Delta 8) are technically legal in any state that has legalized hemp derived products, it is still THC. Drug tests screening for marijuana usage are only screening for the presence of THC and do not discriminate between the different stains as of now. Because of this, Delta 10 can show up on a drug test.

Where Can I Find Delta 10 Near Me?
