The Story
Founded by John Gush and his son, Johnny, near the beaches of Charleston, Coastal Hemp Co. started as a small seed of an idea to create the industry’s most trusted source for hemp-related products, helping our customers feel their best. Coastal Hemp Co. is the youngest venture of the Gush Family. Our founding company, a medical supply provider, offers resources for clinicians and individuals to aid in their recovery. As our company grew, we became increasingly aware that our customers needed more than just products to help heal from an injury or surgery; they needed resources for early intervention to help prevent pain and injury before they started.
That’s when we discovered the powerful benefits hemp offers. We believe that consistent consumption of hemp-based products can help the body heal from the inside out. When we started Coastal Hemp, it was important for us to know the source and story behind the products we were selling, so we created an entire line of hemp products of our own.
Over time, we began to form relationships with other like-minded brands on the same mission. At this point, it became very clear to us that it was important for us to provide well-rounded options for our customers. With that in mind, we decided to bring on other brands that we believed in.
