How Powerful is THCa?

The potency of THCa, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is determined by the percent present in the product.

If a product contains 10% THCa vs. 70%, it is obvious that 70% will be stronger. The true question is, “How Much THCa Do I Need to Feel High vs. a Light High?”

The answer to that question comes down to three factors: your tolerance level, if the product contains the percentage of THCa it claims to contain (many don’t), and whether or not the product contains other ingredients that will get you high (or even impede the high as CBD will).

For the average person, a concentration of 20-60% will be more than enough to feel the effects. 

That being said, a vape product containing 20% THCa will require more puffs than a product containing 60% THCa to get the same intensity of effect. From there, we have to consider whether Delta 8 or other psychoactive compounds would enhance the THCa and overall psychoactivity of the product.
